Hi, my name is Chelsea Cashman.
I am very excited to start on this journey to become a licensed therapist. I have enjoyed helping and working with others for my entire life and I feel so thrilled to begin working with clients.
I moved to Fort Collins, CO from Iowa City, IA in the Summer of 2013. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2016. I am currently a graduate student studying at Northwestern University to receive my Master of Science in Counseling. My ultimate goal is to receive my licensure in counseling after graduate school and to open my own private practice. My interests involve: anxiety, depression, personality imbalances and couples. I look forward to working within True Hope Counseling for the next 9 months to grow my skills as a new practicing counselor and build relationships with the clients I work with.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, reading books and writing.
Again, I look forward to this journey ahead of me. My goal is to be successful therapist available to help those who are struggling with their day-to-day life. Through support, patience and empathy, my goal is to help those I serve have better tools to get through the difficult times they are dealing with.
